Vincent Cichowicz (1927-2006) was a member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra from 1952-1974 and a faculty member at Northwestern University from 1959-1998. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential brass pedagogues of the 20th century. These studies represent the core principles of Cichowicz's teaching.
